WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The specialist for Parts is responsible for leading the team that manages the relationship with suppliers, assuring best and prompt support to other Departments introducing strategical approach
- drive the team defining priorities and introducing strategy in line with Commodity
- define budget for the assigned perimeter
- manage relationship with most relevant suppliers
- cooperate with other Departments on keeping high level KPIs rate and supporting on special projects (new product launch initiatives, war rooms, DFS2.0, …)
- approach by priority based on various reports (economical/operative)
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage a team of 4-7 buyers
Develop and implement Purchasing strategy in line with Commodity and in accordance with regulations, company policies and procedures
Strong contribution to assure the assigned Budget by driving the team on key activities
Guarantee, in line with other Departments, a high service rate to avoid shortages of stock
Monitoring the Purchasing team performance, providing feedback, support and training
Continually develop expertise to support Team’s Buyers growth for new projects
Lead Strategic supplier negotiations
Build and develop relationships with key suppliers
Maintain communication with existing suppliers, working to introduce new potential ones
Strong contribution to avoid disruptions to the business by keeping monitored Supplier's performances and by assuring prompt and proactive support to internal stakeholders
YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Purchasing, Economics, Business, Supply Chain or Engineering preferred
8-10 years Purchasing experience
Experience of Managing/Leading a team in a fast-paced environment
International Purchasing experience with availability to travel
Ability to cooperate and coordinate multicultural and multifunctional teams
Proven ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
Sense of initiative and customer benefit focus
Negotiation skills to achieve results
Excellent communication skills and Teamwork orientation
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Fluent English is mandatory, then Business Italian and or French is preferred
Excellent capacity of analysis
Excellent knowledge in Excel and the Office package
