WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The mission of the Customer Value and Applications team is to support the product development process by bringing the customer success factors and value drivers of the complete experience and system to the development team. The Validation Practices role will ensure there is a system level focus for ag equipment and precision farming development to support the customer experience. This is performed by ensuring Ag product verification and validation methodologies and processes will support customer expectations. This position supports product validation teams by working with multi-functional team to define, detail and deploy product validation techniques and tools.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Align validation and verification methods at customer segment level
• Develop application matrices by customer segment for utilization in validation plans
• Support development of Integrated Validation Plans (IVPs) across the product development platforms and precision technology teams
• Work with Global Product Platforms (GPPs) and Precision on validation plans to define and align deliverables with customer expectations and use cases
• Align validation teams to ensure on time delivery of mutually dependent projects across GPP’s
• Review test standards and pass/fail criteria to support alignment with customer applications and define areas of improvement based on customer experience  
• Support implementation of physical and virtual validation into GPD programs 

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Agricultural background and/or passion for off-road equipment. Knowledge of ag equipment systems (and/or other off-road equipment) and operation.
• Collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish production test plans and processes.
• Experience with off highway validation methods
• Validated problem-solving skills to analyze and address technical problems, including fixing software, electrical and/or mechanical issues.
• Proven technical leadership and organization skills; experience in matrix organization with a strong multi-functional team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with global multi-cultural teams
• Previous involvement in matrix organizations with a strong multi-functional team environment.

OTHER INFORMATION:

• 5+ years relevant product development or product validation experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field
• Willingness to travel 25%
