WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The requested Engineer will support the development and implementation of Functional Safety for electronic control system for driveline. This includes having a focus on international ISO NORMS (mainly ISO 25119 and ISO 26262, ISO 13849), acting as a safety interface and supporting System engineers and SW engineers to develop technical safety solutions.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Contribute to the technical confirmation measures to prove the product meets its safety requirements through analysis to prepare for assessment;
• Support the definition and maintenance of the functional safety process in Driveline according to the Safety Standards (e.g. ISO 25119, ISO 13849) and in alignment with internal CNH standard/process.
• Support functional safety activities in charge to other R&D DL departments (e.g. DFMEA, HW/SW safety analysis)
• Be involved in the FuSa CNH standard and template definition
• Ensure the development of functional safety work products are delivered according to timing and standards. Responsible for Functional/Technical safety concept, UoO/HARA support, collect and validate all FuSa documentation for DL. Interface with all involved roles to complete requirements needed for assessment (Polyspace, HIL, SW implementation / validation reports)
YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements:
• Master degree in Electronic/Computer/Automation Engineering
• Knowledge and experience of functional safety and reliability principles.
• English, both written and spoken
• Understanding of Electronic-Electric Systems Engineering Process ("V" model preferred) and formal system development processes skills, focused on functional safety.
• Knowledge of CAN based automotive/agricultural electronic systems, especially the SAEJ1939.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Specific knowledge of ISO25119, ISO13849 or ISO26262 functional safety standards.
• Knowledge of structured software programming language (C, C++, Model Based), Matlab and of on-road and off-road vehicle electronic-electric architectures and system implementations
• Being able to understand technical drawings, testing, and design documents to participate in verification and validation discussions.
