PRIMARY FUNCTION:

As part of the CNHi Purchasing organization and reporting to the Regional Procurement and Capacity Manager, Procurement and Supplier Capacity Specialist is in charge to manage strategic suppliers’ capacity and procurement process to avoid supply disruptions and to secure the feasibility of CNH Industrial Agriculture Manufacturing Operating Plans.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSABILITIES:

Procurement and Supplier Capacity Management Specialist has the following responsibilities:

 

  • Support the escalation process at plant level in particular to address critical suppliers representing potential structural issues
  • Develop successful mitigation plans to overcome risks within supply base performance
  • Catch preventively and proactively supplier capacity roadblocks not allowing to achieve production and sales target and coordinate with central capacity team in order to define actions and follow up
  • Coordinate sourcing and resourcing plans with manufacturing groups and drive implementation in order to help achieve Purchasing Department's financial targets, in both Direct and Indirect materials
  • For new products work with Platform in order to map supplier capacity and check feasibility plan both on ramp up and on mass production phases

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning logic and systems, preferably 2 years work experience in procurement, logistic, supply chain or similar area, with specific focus on planning and supplier management.
  • Proficiency creating Excel spreadsheets, Power Point and use of basic Office software
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely – both oral and written – at all levels within CNHi and suppliers’ organization, in a multinational environment
  • Available to travel and stay abroad countries when is required and for temporary periods
  • Self-starter with high energy, proactively Teamwork attitude and positive approach
  • Oriented to achieve important results and objectives under pressure
  • Fluent English
