WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The candidate will be responsible for the development of Model based Software for the AG & CE powertrain Control Systems. The candidate will be responsible to deliver integrated software according to system specifications, develop software specifications, software structure and implementation in line with functional requirements and the safety plan.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•   Implementation of given requirements into SW components using Model Based design technique

•   Integration of SW changes and official releases productions following formal process

•   Definition of the embedded SW architecture on different platforms 

•   Definition of the test concept (stimuly/results) for the verification of the implemented SW 

•   Reviews progress of projects and provides frequent team progress updates to direct manager

•   tuning and testing of the performances.

•   Contributes to FMEA sessions

•   Contributes Safety Assessments (in line with Homologation/Directives/Liability Laws)

•   Contributes to Functional Safety relevant software functions in accordance with ISO25119

•   Is aware of state-of-the-art technologies related to the EE competency domain 

•   Is competent and eager to become and stay expert in his/her domain of technology

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

•   Electronics/Mechatronics/Automation Engineering Degree

•   Software Engineering experience on microcontrollers

•   Specific experience (3-5 years) on Model Based SW/Controls design 

•   Knowledge of ANSI C 

•   Understand Matlab and 4th generation software development methods and approaches

•   Understands Virtual prototyping / MIL / SIL / HIL principles 

•   Experience in the specification and design of embedded software for powertrains or electro-hydraulic systems as used in the AG and CE applications. 

•   Problem Solving experience

•   Able to work under minimal supervision, but with the ability to recognize issues that need to be escalated

•   Shows good technical leadership and organization/control skills 

•   Ability to work with tight deadline and under pressure. Can handle several projects at the same time

•   Ability to work transversally with Operational teams

•   Good communication and control skills

•   Good attitude at analyzing and consolidating information  

•   Travels, as necessary, to plants, supplier facilities, Product Evaluation, and customer field sites to resolve problems, explore design alternatives and provide information

•   Fluent English 

Preferred:

•   Experience in the field of tractor controls and related systems.

•   Knowledge of ISO25119 Functional Safety Standard

•   Autosar environment

•   Experience on CAN based systems and CAN TOOLS.

•   Mastering the following applications: TARGETLINK, MATLAB/SIMULINK/STATEFLOW, MULTI Compiler, EDE, ETAS INCA
