Based in our headquarters in Carpi, we are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Performance Activewear Merchandiser to join our team at Champion Europe. You’ll play a key role in optimizing our product assortment, pricing, and distribution to enhance customer experience and drive sales across our Performance Activewear Lines.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of Business Plan: Development of the product line plan, aligning it with profitability and revenue objectives, while considering creative needs and market trends to ensure the commercial success of the collection
- Definition of Pricing Strategy
- Collaborate with design, product development, and marketing teams to curate a competitive, on-trend assortment that aligns with the Champion brand.
- Determine seasonal quantities based on demand forecasts, sales targets, and market needs.
- Oversee inventory levels and replenishment strategies across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure efficient stock availability and optimal distribution.
- Analyze sales data to identify top-performing products and slow movers, optimizing the product assortment accordingly.
- Provide actionable insights for future collections, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Collaboration with the Sales Department: Continuous communication with the Sales team to capture market signals and make adjustments to the product offering, refining strategies based on sales dynamics.
- In-Season Presentations to Key Accounts: Organizing and conducting meetings with Key Accounts to present pre-season product lines, gather feedback, and create tailored solutions for the market.
- Training and Support for the Sales Force: Preparing and presenting the new seasonal collection to the sales force, providing ongoing support and training to maximize sales performance.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Performance Activewear & Teamsports Apparel merchandising with international exposure.
- Strong knowledge of fashion and athletic trends, with the ability to anticipate future shifts.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with merchandising software is a plus.
- Proven success in international markets, with a solid grasp of global consumer behavior and market dynamics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Availability to travel (up to 30% of the time).
