The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of Chemistry related test methods and processes and will be an integral member of the Team Leads in the area. The candidate will need to have a logical and investigative mind with excellent analytical skills. A methodical approach to work is an absolute requirement. The Chemistry laboratory has a critical role to play in the quality of our products and therefore excellent teamworking and interpersonal skills are a must. This is a technical role and as such demands a high level of analytical, written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate will need to have demonstrate good problem-solving and IT skills. Reporting to the Chemistry Manager, the candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following. Analytical Method Validation and Instrument Validation. Manage the laboratories compliance to Pharmacopoeial updates. Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams Liaise with chemists and production personnel. Be aware of, and keep up to date with, health and safety issues Support other activities within the Quality department as assigned by the Quality Manager. Identify continuous improvement and collaboration opportunities, promoting development and implementation of quality data and reports for improvement and optimization of business processes / results. Support the generation and approval of Quality Reviews and Annual Product Quality Reviews Support the QA dept in the preparation for and during inspections. Support new product introductions from a QA perspective.
