ICT Manufacturing Operations Manager

The ICT Manufacturing Operations Manager will act as Business Relationship Manager as the key interface between business and IT, becoming the trust's primary ICT lead on the development and appraisal of major investment cases for ICT changes for Manufacturing & Quality Depts. This will include working closely with the relevant project team & main business stakeholders for strategic projects, including major service redesign programmes, developing viable, robust and deliverable changes. The candidate will be responsible for: Maintaining and ensuring an efficient and robust application solutions support for Manufacturing & Quality operations Providing governance and management of the demand pipeline and act as primary partner for the business functions to capture, structure, align and plan business demand and match this demand with the IT supply functions’ capacity Ensuring consistent capturing and prioritization of the demand towards IT and regular alignment and prioritization of demand Ensuring business continuity as oversight of main solutions supporting business operations for Manufacturing & Quality dept Main Activities To lead support at various stages of business requirement definition playing a leading role on a variety of projects, having responsibility for every aspect of a particular product or family of products from development to release combining business and technical aspects To provide continued ICT service as oversight on a number of smaller initiatives and continuous AMS: developing & applying service models associated with the new ICT strategic service support To develop projects including solutions aligned to Group Strategy and other processes’ needs and development To develop and implement project plans, ensure projects meet key milestones and deliver within agreed timescales To manage and procure external consultants & services, assisting with a variety of projects Requirements Significant, substantial and extensive experience of operating at a strategic or corporate level in an international and complex organizational environment, preferably in the automotive sector Knowledge of main ERP solutions for MRP Substantial experience of working autonomously and independently with senior stakeholders to deliver project objectives Experience of operating also through direct authority, respectful of higher strategic objectives shared within the Application Solution team Ability to develop and review complex solution models Able to operate in complex environments where leadership is diffuse Manage multicultural teams Excellent skills of influencing, persuasion and negotiation Proven ability to present ideas clearly and succinctly Ability to work flexibly in a fast changing environment A facilitative and inclusive approach to management Fluent English (written & spoken) ...
