Area Manager Facility & Real Estate Would you like to be a strong strategic Area Manager Facility & Real Estate at our Italian Site Tetra Pak Carta S.p.A.? Facility & Real Estate Management is a global function, responsible for ensuring the quality of our facility management services worldwide, for optimizing our real estate footprint and for providing safe, inspirational, and efficient workplaces that reflect the Tetra Pak brand. Tetra Pak has adopted and developed a global workplace concept based on Activity Based Working. The area of responsibility is delivered upon in close cooperation with our preferred facility service providers (collaborators) and internal stakeholders on both tactical and strategic level in order to ensure high quality and innovative workplace experience solutions. You will belong to an international team based in Lund (Sweden) and Italy (Modena and Rubiera) and will report to the Director FREM North & South Europe. This position particularly will be based in Rubiera, RE (Italy) and will be responsible for the Converting Factory as well as Market company Sites, both based in the same venue (with approx. 430 employees). You would require approximatively 5 to 10% travelling. What you will do: You will: • Be a business partner to Tetra Pak business units and capture and assess client’s needs, short and long term, harmonize requirements across clients in geographical business partner area • Implement and refine new Workplace concepts through transformational project and change initiatives • Responsible for site related projects together with preferred facility collaborators securing results in line with targets, while interfacing with key stakeholders • Interface and mediate with preferred facility collaborators, manage the facility contract relationship, including scope, service level and special requests. • Be accountable for operational service delivery provided by collaborators vs. service agreements • Manage cost within responsibility area and related investments in line with budget, drive cost saving initiatives, quality improvements and efficiency strategies with collaborator and service providers • Drive quality and continuous improvement of Facility management services as well as the implementations of best practices in close cooperation with the service providers. Who you are: We expect you to: • Have 5 years working experience in a similar business partner position - facility management, architecture, or real estate organization/service provider • Project-management experience with focus on change and construction management. Experience from implementing and managing Activity Based Working is a merit. • Have proven leadership experience or have executive stakeholder communication experience • Demonstrate budgeting and Capex handling within a facility scope experience is a merit • Have a relevant university education preferably in Architecture, Construction or equivalent To be successful in this role you need to excel in stakeholder management, facility contract management and communication, all in a collaborative and professional manner in accordance with Tetra Pak policy, strategy and the targets within the Facility, Real Estate and Workplace area. You would need to be a change agent that can operate in a complex matrix environment as well as a structured and pragmatic person. Service orientation is paramount for this position, so you are a customer minded person with a strong drive for results. Excellent command of English is a must, both written and verbal.
