BELLCO, now part of Medtronic in the Renal Care business, is a company, based in Mirandola (Modena – ITALY), leader in systems for hemodialysis and extracorporeal blood purification. Our therapies and systems are employed for the treatment of renal failure, multiple organ failure, sepsis and cardiac decompensation. We are focused on satisfying the needs of patients and experts through: Innovation, Reasearch, Development of advanced Nephrology, Intensive Care and Cardiology Therapies.
The Sustaining Engineer will provide support to streamline the industrialization processes for new products. This position will work to ensure the products meet expectations from a cost, timing, and specification standpoint.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities
• Engineering and industrialization of new products.
• Optimization and upgrade of existing production processes.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement, cost saving and automation for existing production processes.
• Works to integrate product performance activities with new product development to improve project delivery time and reduce post release production issues.
• Management and coordination of external suppliers (vendors of machines, software, industrial automation or integrators).
• Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive
• Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipm affect product performance.
• Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to manufacturing techniques.
Must Haves
• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Engineering or relevant discipline from an accredited university.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering/sustaining engineering/industrialization project management preferably gained within Medical Device Industry.
• Team working attitude
• Project Leading skills
• Excellent English command
