SERVICE ENGINEER To reinforce our team in Tetra Pak, we are searching for a specialized technician who can join our Services Team and be responsible of executing corrective, preventive and predictable maintenance services and troubleshooting assistance over packaging equipments (filling machines and distribution equipment) to customers’ sites. This is an excellent opportunity to increase your knowledge and gain experience in the mechanics, electronics and automation field by performing services at our clients’ sites. This is a permanent position, our offices are based in Rubiera (RE), Italy. You can be based in multiple locations, but preferably Emilia Romagna or south of Lombardia region. The job includes frequent travels throughout Italy (approx. 80% of the time), but mainly in the Northern part, and, being part of a Cluster Service Organization, you might also be required to travel abroad. What you will do As a Service Engineer, you will • have the full responsibility to perform at customer site or remotely: commissioning, service intervention, troubleshooting and fault findings. • provide technical reports and suitable recommendations in order to ensure customer reliability about Tetra Pak’s services. • drive customer to upgrade existing machine/plant, in order to maintain the highest grade of efficiency and performance guarantee. Who you are We believe you • are fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken. • have a technical education in Mechanics, Electric and Electronic components • should have spent some years providing installation, commissioning and servicing on equipments • You have developed specific competences on mechanics, electro technology and skills on automation • You should have proven experience on mechanics and fluid-dynamics; • have a good knowledge on electrical panel, MCC, process instrumentation and electrical installation, mainly oriented to the troubleshooting and fault findings; • have a good command of computer skills. • have a good interpersonal, communication and team working skills. • have a “problem solving” approach, you are methodical and efficient. • have a flexible approach and availability to work in the weekends and overnight, if requested.
