Automation Specialist Our Services Solution Department is looking for an Automation Specialist based in Italy for the Processing area food and beverage. In this position you will belong to multinational team of the Plant & Line Integration with colleagues are distributed across Europe. For this unique career opportunity, we are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist who can be a trusted expert for food & beverage processing area. This role is suitable for someone with strong technical expertise in automation with the ability to work autonomously but also in teams (small or large). The main responsabilities and purpose of this position is to: - Implement standard service products and support development of new products - Provide comprehensive technical support and service to customers for all automation service products - Provide sales support to technical sales and account managers through the entire sales process (understand customer needs, create solution, convey the value) As Automation Specialist, you will be based in Italy. Applications from the area of Rubiera (Emilia Romagna) or Nova Milanese location considered advantageous. You will be working remotely from your home most of the time. Travelling is expected 50-70% and also carry out some activities in Tetra Pak site. What You Will Do As Automation Specialist in this position you will: Carry out remote support, service and start-ups to Tetra Pak processing equipment Prepare and implement upgrades on automation systems Carry out commissioning of Tetra Pak processing equipment Work with and fault find on extra low & low voltage systems Work with and fault find on programmable control systems, Data Base and IO Servers and Scada systems Edit PLC programs and re-commission Work with a team of Service Engineers Complete Project Handover Sales support Write a site visit report on completion of the work, and complete the necessary check sheet[s] and forward promptly to the customer and office Communicate with the Automation Specialist for technical support and issue resolution Document service activities and update customer data, including equipment and contacts Carry out customer visits in conjunction with technical issues, assisting the local account managers and Service Manager Who You Are We believe that you have: Bachelor´s degree qualification or able to demonstrate through experience knowledge of Automation solutions, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Process control At least 3 years of experience in the Industrial Automation sector Good knowledge and proven understanding of automation platforms, systems design Understanding of processing equipment and processes within the food industry is an asset Processing - Production Control; SI Kit’s for PLC, HMI & Database Knowledge of industrial IT & HW, Networks, Routers Experience from PLC software: Siemens (PCS7, S7 and TIA Portal) and Rockwell. Experience from HMI software: Wonderware Intouch and Archestra.
