Brief description and main activities
The interns will be part of the Legal department and will provide support to the units of Food, Advertising & Sustainability Law or Corporate Affairs, each one for the designated area, by being involved in the day-by-day activities. In particular:
Food, Advertising and Sustainability Law Unit:
In this Unit there will be a focus on legal checks related to multi-jurisdictional labels, interacting with Technical Regulatory Unit and Marketing Units. The main activities will be:
- to support the Food, Advertising & Sustainability Law Unit in food law related matters, especially labelling matters, at a global level, interacting with internal and external local legal counsels;
- to support the Food, Advertising & Sustainability Law Unit in checking advertising and marketing materials;
- to update the team on new Food, Advertising & Sustainability Law provisions;
- to do research on food and advertising law matters;
- to draft minutes on internal meetings, to draft Power Point presentations and to support the team keeping updated all the internal files and documentation.
Corporate Affairs Unit:
In this Unit there will be a focus on providing support to the head of the office on corporate matters with reference to the foreign companies and in particular for what concerns the planning and management of Board and shareholders’meeting. The main activities will be:
- provide support in handling relations with external lawyers and colleagues in relation to the preparation and formalization of documents;
- provide support in revising delegation of powers in line with organizational structure and guidelines;
- provide support in overseeing the documentation provided for Board and shareholders’ meetings for the foreign subsidiaries, where required;
- support the head of the office in revising intragroup agreements.
Requirements
- Italian Law Degree;
- A brief experience in the above-mentioned fields would be considered a plus;
- Fluency in English and Italian;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Reliability and proactivity;
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information.
