PMI’s shift from selling cigarettes to our new smoke-free products has changed the way we work. New products bring new challenges – in the way we source and buy raw materials, in the way we engineer and manufacture, and in our supply chain planning. Your ‘day to day’: Drive projects to identify, justify and implement new methodologies or quality processes in order to meet business needs. Engage internal and external stakeholders, while coordinating the execution of technical activities and being the reference person for quality related topics. You will use the quality knowledge and seeks ideas from diverse source to continuously improve, take timely decisions and communicate the status of projects/work packages to upper management. Finally, You will act as quality reference person in risk assessment of existing packages and quality processes and support improvement of QA standards related to key processes & practices across the involved factories. Provide consultation to multiples areas of the organization on quality topics, participate in developing quality strategies by triggering pipeline projects and capabilities for future improvements. Specific responsibilities include: • Achieve results by applying a high level of technical competence as a specialist in the design, development, control or/and the implementation of complex process and quality CoE practices where few known precedents exist and apply sound quality solutions to meet the PMI technical and business needs. • Develop business justification, scope, and resource requirements for management reviews and decision making by acting as the knowledgeable resource of Q-CoE for bringing pilot projects to realization, by confirming that the project pilot meets the quality acceptance criteria and ensure completeness of related reference package. • Lead all stages of assigned project / activities and coordinate the technical activities of multi-disciplinary or cross-functional participants to meet the identified project scope and ensure that objectives and targets related to quality are defined, known and followed-up by the stakeholders until their successful closures. • Act as Q-CoE stream quality advisor when quality data and information may have a potential positive impact on meeting the strategic objectives of PMI. Participate in regular management reviews and act as quality specialist providing technical competence in the related area of expertise. • Lead and direct internal project members (and external consultants & vendors when applicable) to ensure project scopes, budgets, schedules and relevant quality KPIs are developed & managed from project initiation until closure, compliant with all PMI standard with no deviations from reference packages and systematic prevention of non-conformity reoccurrence. • Review, evaluate and manage large quantities of data/technical information and existing PMI documents and procedures owned by Q-CoE. Perform knowledge management via data compilation, review and storage in line with Company, FDA or any other equivalent accreditation authority requirements. • Consolidate inputs to ensure appropriate governance for Q-OPS PDCA, Masterplan definition and 90 Days Plan and present outcome as reference for the stream. You will provide evidences in order to properly identify new initiatives priorities to be developed and follow up on implementation. • Participate in strategies development and activity plans aiming at building quality pipeline projects and capabilities for future anticipation. • Carry out all of the activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, Standards, and Laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by stakeholders, and implement adequate processes to ensure the protection of information of a confidential nature. Requirements & Skills: • University degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or equivalent scientific disciplines or equivalent skills through demonstrated experience • 6-10 years experience in Quality disciplines in tobacco, food, pharmaceutical or similar industry. • Advanced knowledge of relevant standards (ISO, ICH, GMP). • Well developed IT skills, analytical skills, and project management skills. • Advanced knowledge on Quality tools, root-cause analysis, and statistical tools. • Product Quality Knowledge Recruiter: Silvia Amarù Employment Type: Permanent Relocation package offered What we offer: Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
