JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Based in our headquarter office in Carpi, Modena (Italy) we’re looking, for a Fixed term contract, a creative talent as Junior Designer for Men’s and Boy’s Category. This role is the right fit for a person with high level of organization and flexible attitudes towards complex tasks in a dynamic and fast environment. Every designer is responsible for the product from the idea to the sample arrival: for the entire process which consists in MOODBOARD creation, design line phase, technical sketch sending to the supplier, proto review and kick off collection! MAIN TASKS - Observing and studying trends, taking advantage of all the tools available to the Design Team, such as: visits to trade fairs; access to websites of trends and market research; trend-books, sector magazines; detailed analysis of past collection performance in terms of sell-in and sell-out; research trips in Italy and abroad .- Design of the new collection and research of the color, fabric folder and accessories for each line, following the inputs and guidelines of the PMs - Graphic processing: freehand lines, Illustrator and Photoshop - Creating the Initial Specs in PDM (Model Form) for each collection item - Collaborate with graphic designers for the development of graphics and logos, according to briefs elaborated with PM at setup stage of each product line - Collaborate with the grading department for the measure cards preparation for each garment, complying with the corporate fitting guidelines for each product category. - Prepare information about each item for prototype production to be sent to suppliers - Participation together with modelers and suppliers at proto reviews - Preparing comments to send to vendors prototype for fitting goals (sdifettamento – fitting) - Collaboration with technical departments for research and development of accessories and logos JOB QUALIFICATIONS Degree / Diploma in Fashion design Proficiency in the use of the following tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign SKILLS and ATTITUDES - Passion for sporting product, experience in sportswear or streetwear product design - At least 2/3 years’ experience in the clothing industry - Good knowledge of the different abovementioned product phases - Proven proficiency in English language - Available for business trips Candidates with the relevant experience and profile and really motivated to this job are welcome to send their application and CV.
